Sadly, I've read a quote from the writer where he said that the scene was basically rape. Then it got clouded under fan reaction and defense and backtracking-- "But these are complicated characters" and "you have to understand their past" and etc. etc. justifications I don't care about because the writer of the scene admitted it was rape. Anything after that is just so much hot air to me.
