"You broke my smolder."
Love Tangled. Love love LOVE.
Not sure why it ended up getting a PG instead of the usual G-- I'm guessing it was either the stabbing thing, or the fact that the villain was actually realistic, instead of the usual over-the-top, "Wheeee, I'm evil and it's fun!" type. The emotional manipulation had me cringing at points.
But Rapunzel!Flynn Eugene! Pascal and Maximus! Random mime and Cupid guys! I kinda want to hurry out to the store and buy it right now.

That said, I'm pretty sure most Disney movies get a PG because they are all a little on the dark side, don't they?

And yikes, I'm sorry about that. It made me really twitchy because I've got a couple of close friends who've gone through emotional abuse like that; to have actually experienced it firsthand-- no wonder you almost left.
