Ways to tell that you're nuts, #1042

So I'm sitting here, working on the Fanfiction That I Said I Wouldn't Write, and when I look up I see that a medium-sized spider is making its way across the ceiling, right toward my desk (it's currently about two feet away from directly over my head).

Me-- "If you drop down onto my head, I will kill you. I'm serious. I don't care if you stay up there, but if you lose your grip on that ceiling I'm going to squash you like the bug you . . . well, aren't, but you're close enough."

And then I realize, I am talking out loud to an arachnid.

Anybody know a cheap therapist??
