Hee.

Chris and I decided to watch a movie last night, and we stumbled upon something called "The Vanishing" It's about a man (Keifer Sutherland) whose girlfriend (Sandra Bullock) disappears at a gas station, and he spends three years searching for her before finally finding out the truth. It was creepy at points, but I wouldn't recommend it-- the new-girlfriend character made me want to kick her, and they tacked on a joke at the very end of the movie that made me want to kick the writer. I might try to find the Dutch original sometime, which apparently has a different ending.

But the point is, Lynn Hamilton had a bit part in this movie. She was also in Baby's Breath, the independent horror movie that I had a bit part in.

Do you realize what this means? I can now play the Six Degrees game with myself!

I starred in Baby's Breath with Lynn Hamilton
Lynn Hamilton starred in The Vanishing with Sandra Bullock
Sandra Bullock starred in The Thing Called Love with Samantha Mathis
Samantha Mathis starred in Pump Up the Volume with Christian Slater
Christian Slater starred in Murder in the First with Kevin Bacon

I am far, far too easily amused.

Haaaaa. That's so cool! I want to give you a hug for that.

I've heard the Dutch Vanishing is even creepier. I haven't seen either, though I want to.

Hehe, I remember doing that with my friend Nick after he worked on a series with Patrick Warburton. I figured out I was only 4 steps from Joaquin, although now for the life of me I can't recall how. But it did happen, though, and I was thoroughly amused.

I have watched the Dutch version of The Vanishing. If you can find a copy..I'll be interested to know what you think. High creepability factor..

I don't know if that's cool, or if you need therapy.

Both.
