So, the Arts and Crafts Fair was yesterday. I spent Thursday and Friday buying more supplies and baking for hours. Set up the tent in the midst of some rain, but then it cleared up and turned into a nice day until about 2:30. I had my books priced at 16 dollars each, both for thirty dollars.

Not that it mattered, since nobody bought any. For all that work-- and missing about eighty dollars in pay at my actual job for taking two days off-- I made twelve dollars and fifty cents.

Next year I doubt I'm going to bother.

Oh man...that sucks. But don't skip next year's. The weather probably kept people at home. After all...that storm was dropping tornadoes west of you.

Besides...that means there's more candy for me to buy when I come down. ;)

Well, it was still fairly crowded there, even with the rain. The tent right across from us, that was selling wooden knicknacks, was almost cleaned out by 2:30. So it wasn't the weather.

On the good side, Chris said the guy who's been harrassing me at work walked by when I was visiting with Jon-- and as soon as he saw Chris, he moved to the other side of the path in a hurry. :-)

But still...don't skip out on next year. You enjoyed making everything, right? Even if it didn't sell now...it might sell sometime later. Take some to work with you, stuff like that.

Nice. I don't think he'll be bothering you again. And how's Jon doing? Haven't heard much from him in ages.

I enjoyed part of it. After a while it gets to be 'did I make that already? Oh crud, I still need to ice that. Don't tell me I forgot to pick up another carton of eggs. . ." ;-)

I'm going to participate next year, I'm just not going to make nearly as much stuff.

Jon's doing well-- he started doing landscape/space art a few weeks ago; it looks great. I'll be posting pictures of that, too.
