Golden Compass
LOVE.
I saw on our theatre's website that they were actually getting it in and told Chris, "After the doctor's appt. First showing at 4:00. We will be there."
Since I hadn't read the books yet (usually I prefer doing that after I see the film adaptation, but the second and third . . . yeah, I'm not going to be able to wait) I went in barely knowing anything about it other than I wanted a daemon. That hasn't changed. Need to find that 'what's your daemon' quiz everybody on my flist was taking a while back. And get some Golden Compass icons. Anyway.
Wish there was more screen time for Serafina and Lord Asriel, but even that I don't really mind because the rest of it was so much fun-- that, and I'm guessing there'll be some more focus on them in the next two.
Anyway, possible spoilers in the comments if anybody else wants to talk about it. :-)
