Oh dear.

Okay, so here's the situation:

1) Writing a YA sci-fi series with my best friend.
2) Just got started on the second book in a planned fantasy trilogy.
3) Revising a draft of the first book in the series mentioned in #1.
4) Also, y'know, the whole new-baby thing, which kindof cuts in on the time to do any of the above.

The point?

I'm considering participating in NaNoWriMo.

Please kick my ass, would you?

Consider butt kicked! If it helps, I segment my different books into different days, otherwise I just sort of waffle and never settle down on anything. So I'll revise my book for Flux on Mondays & Weds, my book for Scholastic on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Saturdays, and write my new WIP on Friday, for example.

Hm, that sounds like it could work, too. *makes note for later*

Right now I kindof segment things by times of day-- the YA sci-fi series in the evening when my friend's online to work with me; the second book in the fantasy trilogy while my daughter's taking her morning nap. Slow but steady, etc. :-)

Yeah, that's how I tried to do it . . . sigh. For my ADD brain, totally didn't work.
