Tell me about it. I'm so glad there are episodes like the TV show one sprinkled around in this season, because if they were all as dark as the Ellen/Jo one I would never make it through the discs.
Yeah, I love how the three episodes leading up to that heartbreaker were all incredibly amusing. The one where Dean gets all old and crotchety, the TV show one, and the Supernatural convention. Looking back, I should have known something big and horribly depressing was coming up.
I know! ((but man, did I love the funny episodes. "It's like Grumpy Old Men!" "Shut up, Sam." Hee)) And now we've just seen the one with them going back to stop Anna from killing John and Mary and the whole, "Well, I'll do them a favor and make sure they won't remember you." "If you do that, she's going to walk right into that nursery" and the "angels are watching over you" ending line and dammit Show, quit breaking my heart into itty bitty pieces already.
But I'm an addict anyway. Oh well. :-)
