Well, you can look things up under the gif tag-- http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/gif -- or the lol tag, or just look up whatever movies/fandoms you like (like Sherlock Holmes would be http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/sherlock+holmes ) and then when you see something you like hit 'reblog'. :-)
