You ever have one of those mornings...
...where it seems like it's a hugely bad omen for the rest of the day?
I get up this morning and of course immediately get online, because I am Email Junkie. Kath and I engage in a bit of email pingpong, and then I look at the clock and realize I'm about to be late for work.
Scurrying follows.
I look outside then, and see that it is pouring. Eeek. I look but cannot for the life of me find my jacket, so I go out to the van we didn't get that long ago and since I have never driven in the rain before I cannot find the windshield wipers. So I say a few words that my mother did not teach me, get out of the van, and run the block and a half to work.
Number of jokes I heard along the line of, "Guess who won the wet t-shirt contest?" within the first ten minutes of my shift: 4.
But it's okay, because the "oh my god I'm cold and I hate the planet" morning turned into a very good afternoon. Kath and I are going to be working on the Karavan series again; wheeeeee! I would use a Karavan character icon to celebrate, but since I do not have one (free account = 3 icons, sob), I'll just direct you to the page of character portraits that have been done so far.
Off to continue being hyper.
