The loan went through!!!! Payoff bills are getting sent out today. Hasn't completely sunk in yet, though after six months of being led around by a different mortgage company, I'm not surprised.

The other main reason I'm posting is because it's my best friend's birthday. If I could draw, I'd put up a sketch of a bunch of our characters wearing party hats, or something equally goofy. Since that's not the case, though, a collage is under the cut. :-)

And this is something I should've said a while ago, but better late than never, I suppose. Kath, several months ago I made up a little comparison list that showed what traits if any I had in common with my characters, because I was curious about how much of myself went into my writing. I need to find that list again and add something to Ki'Rana's column, since she also has a sibling by choice instead of by genetics. And hey, DNA is overrated, anyway. ;-) Happy birthday, sis.

okay, no fair. you made me cry on my birthday. ::sniffle:: but its a good kinda cry. I feel so special today. what a wonderful squeezy-hug happy feeling. thank you so much. I am so printing this collage out for my wall and also for my desk at work. I am going to put it in a nice picture frame. And this is cool cuz now I have a kid sister. heh. (never mind that Im pretty much old enough to be your mother. hee. this is way better!)
