Zoo Pic Monday

Recently got a bunch of zoo pictures actually uploaded to my computer. We go whenever we can (aka when the temperature is not listed as "hell would actually be cooler than this". Ridiculous weather). So I figure I'll post a few of the more interesting ones every week. :-)

New Etsy shop! Chris will have some photo prints up, and Mom and I have been experimenting with polymer clay, especially octopuses, because they are cute.

Jun. 1st, 2010 02:19 pmSince he was several days late and my doctor was getting a little concerned, I was induced at 4 in the morning on May 25. But everything went fine, and Ian was born at 3:09 in the afternoon. :-)

Jul. 30th, 2009 02:15 pmI would also add pictures from Wicked (which was the "OMGOMGOMG" level of awesome) but we unsurprisingly weren't supposed to take any, so I didn't. I really wanted to get a shot of the stage, though. That set was fantastic. But you'll just have to settle for pictures of me scribbling my name instead. ;-)

May. 30th, 2009 10:18 pmWe went out to the water plant to talk to Chris for a few and see if we could get some pictures of the geese that live out there-- and we ended up getting pics of something else:
She's pretty young, and absolutely not afraid of people at all-- she just wandered across the parking lot and came within ten feet of where Chris and I were crouched at the corner of the building. Chris thinks she's made a home in one of the spare pipes lying around in the nearby field. She stalked across the field for several minutes, springing up into the air to pounce at things, and we followed at a distance. :-)
