Eee! Guess what I found on youtube.com-- the Tony Awards performance of "Defying Gravity". This was what got me hooked on Wicked. I rewound my tape of it sooooo many times, but then I lost it in the move.

::happy sigh:: I would so ignore my fear of heights to really perform this song. . .

I watched it. I loooooved that show.

I think one of the main songs that got me hooked on it was I'm Not That Girl because it's pretty much me in a nutshell.

Ohhhh, I love that song. We went over it in voice class and I used to sing it to my nephew when he wouldn't go to sleep. :-D

Awwww! I can't wait until I have a nephew or neice to sing to...although, I can't sing worth crap, so I'd better just let my sister sing to her own child(ren). XD

The other song that I've gotten attached to is As Long As You're Mine. It's definitely become one of my favorite songs from that musical.

Although, really, pretty much all of the songs are my favorites. There aren't too many that I don't like.

As Long As You're Mine is certainly up there on the favorites list. Hm. I should search youtube to see if anyone's done a video to that song. If there's a LOST, Moulin Rouge, or Firefly one to it, then life will be splendid. Hee

Yeah, I'm not finding any either. I only found one with Idina Minzel (I think that's how you spell the last name) but it's not with the original Feiro (at least I don't think it's the guy that was in the production I saw, but I'd have to find my program), though I don't mind as long as I get to watch it.

...And I will as soon as Youtube stops being slow.

Okay, so the video I watched...wasn't (as far as I could tell) the guy I saw in the production, but it is the same guy who sings in the version I downloaded. I recognized his voice right away because it's so deep. I had thought that it was the same guy in the production I saw but I'm pretty sure it's not the same guy.
