Lost rocks, but Deadwood really rocks. It's a really good show on HBO. And Desperate Housewives got several nominations as well.

But you'll have to forgive me...I'm rooting for Bill Shatner to win the supporting actor. Blame it on my Star Trek roots...Plus Boston Legal is a really good show.

I've never seen Deadwood (don't have HBO). Never seen Boston Legal either, but when it comes down to William Shatner or Naveen Andrews or Terry O'Quinn... sorry, Bill. ;-)

Lost was also nominated for writing (the pilot and "Walkabout") and I think directing (pilot) as well, and the pilot may have gotten other technical nominations like cinematography.

Yay! The more nominations the better. I just went off the list they had up at imdb, which I'm guessing now was abridged. lol I've never watched the Emmys before; looks like I'll have to make an exception this time around. :-)

*thud* at mere mention of Naveen...

I'm thrilled that he and Terry O'Quinn were nominated, though I wonder what criteria the Emmy people used to decide. Both of them are amazing, but so is Josh Holloway (and I'm not just saying that because, as you know, I think he is dreamy ;-) ) Matthew Fox has also done solid work all season. It seems so random, somehow...They should have ensemble awards!

Yes, I like the idea of ensemble awards very much, because I just love everybody on that show. lol

And I'll see your *thud* and raise you a *squeeeee, faint*. ;-D
