oh man oh man oh man. so much I want to respond to with this post! I dont even have time to read the 25 other responses tho cuz LOST is on in 5 minutes! dang!
I do have to say this: mal/trader. trader/mal. how did I do that when I had never even heard of firefly when I created trader? does this mean I have similar thought processes as joss whedon? if so I am very happy with myself. hee.
and simon and JP? definitely definitey yes. first thing I thought all the way through watching serenity (I saw the movie before I saw any of the series, mind you.)
Kaylee-- I love kaylee. Jake loves kaylee too. He was addicted to her from day one. He says he doesnt know who he likes better tho, her or jayne. (he will grow on you)
and river/you. you/river. thought about that all the way through the movie and then even more through the series.
