So last night I was sitting on the couch reading when Chris says, "Get up very slowly and come look out the kitchen window."

I glanced over, saw a very large grayish lump on the base to the clothesline. "Is that a cat?"

"Definitely not. C'mere."

I snuck closer with him, and realized the mystery creature was an owl. It flew off a few seconds later, and you should've seen the wingspan on this thing.

Can now add 'owl' to 'list of creatures we've seen living on the edge of town'. :-)

And now, unfortunately, off to work.
