Having one of those evenings. Where Chris asks if I have a problem with him going over to visit his friends and family for the night and I say, "No, go for it," when inside it's *in house alone after dark eeeeeeeeee* which means of course once he's gone I can't think of anything to write to distract myself and then I hear a weird noise and I'm all, "You'll never take me alive!!!! Wait, let me rephrase" and then I realize it's probably just the cats.
Bonus random fact: when I get twitchy, I talk and type in run-on sentences.
Anyway, in another tactic to distract from my spazbat-ness, here are several pictures from our trips to the Kansas City Zoo and Woolaroc.

I forget exactly what the name for this bird is, so due to the beak I just call it the Bird of Death.

Chris and I next to some strange scenery-type van.

Meerkats are seriously one of my favorite animals ever. Cuuuute.

A dingo. He was pacing constantly, which we decided was because he couldn't get at these:

Meerkat tummy.

Thought mom got a nice shot here. :-)
And from Woolaroc--

My brother, being a goof.

Starting off down the nature trail. Little did we know that the trail was quite a bit longer than we thought, and have I mentioned it was 103 degrees out that day?

Climbing around.

And again.

The end of the 'why did no one think to bring bottled water? Make a note of it for next time. If we live' trail. Aka, entrance to the museum.
In conclusion:
