Apr. 11th, 2004 07:38 pmI am so proud of myself. LOL Now that the musical's over, I have more time to write again, and so this week I edited three of the novels in one of Kath's and my series.
I think I like writing better than editing (especially when the editing consists of searching for spelling errors and the like rather than adding in new scenes), but it's still fun to go through the material again.
My default icon shows one of my characters, actually. It's an icon I made from Norma Peters' drawing of Stace, a faery who befriends a human man after she's transported to a different world. I love writing for her, she's a lot of fun.
Writing in and of itself is a lot of fun; I've even made a couple of collages about it. One's visible here, and the companion piece to it is on this page. The lyrics on both collages are from the song "All The Lives of Me"-- from the Broadway show The Boy from Oz. Which, observant people will note, is the title of my journal. ;-)
And the song I'm listening to right now is kindof the 'theme' for the novels about Stace and her companions... lyrics to it are also on my webpage; they're perfect.
And I'm babbling again. Which means it's time to sign off for now...
