Check it out, everybody! My new reading list!

As a lifelong reader, I would just like to make the point that there is no such thing as a 'harmful' book. Language like that is just going to be used by these morons later on as an excuse to 1) ban them from schools, or 2) burn them. And yes, I know that the specter of burning books might very well be cliche to some people, but Phyllis Schafly was on the list of 'judges' for this, and I don't put anything past that dingbat.

We have Friedan and Kinsey on the same list as Hitler. Just when I think they can't get dumber.

Confessions of a packrat

So I'm going through this box of papers/letters. Why do I have birthday cards from my tenth birthday? Why do I have envelopes with nothing in them? Why do I have random scraps of paper with nothing written on them??

Gosh darnit. Chris called me and told me to turn on the Food Network, and there's a cooking show on and this guy's making hot chocolate souffles and they look so incredibly yummy and I want them. Mrrrrrrr.
