Robertson "apologizes" for Chavez remarks
The quotation marks are mine, but they should seriously be there. As soon as I saw the link title on Yahoo, I thought, "Oh great, one of those stupid 'I'm sorry that you feel that way' apologies instead of the real deal." But no, he goes one better! First he denied ever using the word assassination. Then, when confronted with evidence that he indeed had, he was finally dragged kicking and screaming into an apology. Dude, I have seen five-year olds apologize for saying stupid crap with more class than that.
But then, considering some of the other things Pat Robertson has said, that really doesn't surprise me.
