Jan. 21st, 2006 05:49 pmWe got a puppy today. :-) He's part Lab, about 8 weeks old. We took him home and put him in the fenced-in backyard and went to get some supplies for him. . .
And when we came back he was gone.
We double-checked the yard, found the one place where he might've possibly gotten out, and then searched up and down the block for him. Nothing.
One of our neighbors came outside at this point, and we asked if she'd seen him. She said no, but then she pointed and said, "There he is." And sure enough, he's standing at the gate whining to be let in.
I told Chris that after that little stunt we had to name him after Houdini, so Harry it is. :-) (and the spot in the fence is fixed)
