The story of my life

Wanted to check out another TV series, and our rental store doesn't exactly have much, but we did spot Stephen King's "Kingdom Hospital". So we watched most of it this weekend, finishing up this morning after I got off work. Two minutes ago I get a call from Chris-- "Turn on the Sci-Fi Channel. You'll laugh."

Three guesses as to what they're running. ;-)

Ah well. Back to editing, singing along to RENT, and wishing I had a motorcycle.

*note to self: must stop watching Long Way Round, as the adventurous impulses it causes in other people will only result in accidental suicide for you*

(no subject)

*sitting at desk, typing happily* "Umm . . . wait a sec. Did that stack of papers move?"

*peers down, sees good-sized spider clinging to a bookmark* "Eee!"

*leaps up, pokes at bookmark, nothing. Picks up large book and slams it onto the stack of bookmarks. No sign of spider body in wreckage*

*reminds self that Mal and company would not be afraid of an arachnid. They would say sarcastic things about the spider, hunt it down, and then Jayne would shoot it with Vera*

*can't help but notice that it would be easier to find a spider on board Serenity than on this wreck of a desk*



Yeah. If you need me, I'll be over here whimpering in the corner.

A day working at the vet's

Me: 'kay, feeding cats.
Disapproving Cat: *VEHEMENT HISS*
Me: yah, I hate you too sweetheart.
Disapproving Cat: WELL I HATE YOUR FACE
Me: D:
My Skin: I'm not supposed to let the red stuff out, right?
