Note to self: After having about a gallon of blood drawn at the doctor's office (she said she will not have to do that at every appointment, yay!), do not go shopping for food, for two reasons--
1) Y'know all those stories people have about donating blood, and how they're always dizzy and zonky afterwards? Listen to the stories.
2) When you get to feeling weak and that hungry, everything looks good. "Oooh, donuts and juice and Oreos and Doritos and I think we need about five pounds of bananas, don't you, and why are you taking the checkbook from me, dear? Food dammit."
