Cybercasting meme!
Mar. 28th, 2011 10:04 amIn what (I think) will be the last 30 Days meme, I'm going to post a picture a day of somebody I have 'cast' as one of my characters. Or more than one of my characters sometimes; if I've been a fan of somebody for a while I'll usually put them into several books. Because I'm a geek like that. :-)
So, first up:
Daniel Dae Kim
Apollo, from the Greek Pantheon series
The God of light, music, and prophecy, Apollo is one of the most beloved on Olympus. If one discounts Hera's opinion, anyway. And Poseidon's, since he's not too happy with him after the whole "daughter of a friend turned into a laurel tree because Apollo would not leave her alone" thing. And Iris, who's very softhearted when it comes to mortals and is still mad at him over his murder of Niobe's sons. And Persephone, who won't divulge the reasons for her hatred even to her best friend. And--
Okay, so he's beloved largely in his own mind. But he has the favor of his father, and he and his sister are close, and that's all he really cares about.
