Well, when people ask me, rhetorically, "What is normal, anyway?", I have an answer.
Normal is a small town in central Illinois, next to Bloomington. My sister was born in Normal hospital, when my family lived in Bloomington (the only hospital in Bloomington was Catholic, and my mom did not approve of their "if you have to choose, save the baby, not the mother" doctrine).
To this day, this remains the only normal thing to happen to my family.
