I'm bad at tagging people, so just answer if you want! My list is under the cut. :-)
1. When I was a kid, the theme to the Twilight Zone used to freak me out.
2. I try not to start reading any series until I have the entire thing right in front of me. None of this 'coming out next summer' and then actually waiting years, thank you.
3. I have a birthmark just above my right hip.
4. I wouldn't mind living in a commune with my friends.
5. Writing flirtatious scenes is fun, but I can't flirt myself. I never realized when someone was trying until things got to anvil-dropped-on-head level of unsubtlety, and once I realized I never knew what to say anyway. Stammering ensued.
6. I collect cookbooks. Especially cookbooks that have to do with desserts.
7. The last actual argument I had with anyone in my family was after watching Gone Baby Gone. Mostly my fault, since it had been so long since I'd read the book I barely remembered anything besides liking it. Considering the whole PPD thing, there was quite a long stretch when I tried not to watch anything I knew might make me sad and trigger anything worse than that, and . . . oops. ((see also: Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog and why I adored it right up until the last segment))
8. My favorite color is purple.
9. I've used a vanity press before (iUniverse) and most likely will again (lulu.com looks interesting). I still work on getting other projects actually published, but editing stuff for self-publication and commissioning fun artwork for the covers and whatnot gives me other writing-related stuff to focus on. Which leads to:
10. I work better when I'm working on at least three projects. If I have only one thing to concentrate on, my brain rebels and wants to watch TV instead. But if I've got one solo project to write and one project with my cowriter to edit and another one that's not started yet but I need to do some worldbuilding and pick out character names? Happy me.
11. I am incapable of having a clean desk for more than 24 hours.
12. When I was ten or eleven, I wanted Al from Quantum Leap as a best friend. I'm fairly sure this has something to do with my ongoing immediate affection for overly flirtatious sarcastic characters (*waves to Dean and Sawyer*).
13. I miss acting onstage.
14. I'm an agnostic.
15. I'm thinking about applying to be a surrogate mother.
16. amazon.com is fine and all, but my favorite place to spend an afternoon is in an actual bookstore.
