Found a new site while kidlet was napping: Agony Booth, which does movie recaps. Scrolling through their list, I found one for Battlefield Earth, which I've never seen/read, and I thought I'd give the recap a scroll-through and see if it could possibly be as bad as people were saying.
This movie must be mine, so I can add it to my Sabertooth/Mammoth/Alone in the Dark playlist. The bad aliens are actually called Psychlos! The SyFy Original fan in me is just clapping with glee here.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to go write a saga about humans vs. the Eevils.

Date: 2011-01-29 02:29 pm (UTC)the cool thing is, the movie only covers about the first 100 pages of the book.
So that means if you love it as much as me, you read the book to get move of the love. and if you read it after you've watched the movie you have the picture in your head of what the characters look like.
Though I have to say, I read the book first, and the twisty thing that happens is one million times better when you read it then when you watch it. Though it was super awesome seeing it the screen too!
