So, I got home with my new movie (yay!) and then I realized the one drawback to a new TV/VCR/DVD player setup.
I had no idea how to work the stupid thing. Which resulted in an Epic Battle between me and the TV.
Me: "Okay, go to channel 3, turn DVD player on... still channel 3. Uhoh."
TV: *gloat*
Me: "I hear you over there. Don't think I won't unplug you. Hm. Flipping channels... hey! L1! That looks familiar-- and, blue screen! Hooray! *pushes play*
TV: *still displaying blue screen, gloats some more*
Me: "Hey. You are interfering with not only my musicals fetish, but my clothes-I-want fetish and my Naveen Andrews fetish. Trust me, you don't want to do that."
TV: *ignores me*
Me: "Wait a minute. 'Mode' button. One side VCR...and the other side DVD."
TV: *is vanquished*
Victory is mine.
And it's probably for the best that I watched this movie 1) in my house, and 2) when Chris was at work, because I don't think anybody else would've put up with my singing along. The dancing along will come once I learn what the heck I'm doing. And I will learn. Because that looks like fun.
Review basically consists of: Love. Much love. Colorful and the music was fun and I loved the dancing and Naveen Andrews should've been in it more but I suppose I can forgive them because as I said, love. And the little outtakes at the end were great; I so wish I could've been in that movie... for the moment we can ignore the facts that I can't dance and that no one involved with that film is aware I exist.
Anyway. I don't have work tomorrow, and it's only 8:39. This means that I have time to watch Bride and Prejudice again before I go to sleep. Happy.
And yes, I have passed the point of hyper. With everything good that's happened today, I think I've officially achieved Super Poing status. Fear me.
