I think there's a good chance of it-- I mean, he wasn't capable of murder, when it came right down to facing his victim and saying the curse. Of course, he did make sure the Death Eaters could get into the school and whatnot, but it was clear by the end of the book that he'd been having second thoughts and his main motivation was to keep his family and himself from getting killed. I think he's basically a mean, racist little bully who suddenly found himself in *way* over his head. Maybe what happened will scare some sense into him.
Have I mentioned that I can't wait for the next book?? lol
