Well, dad seems to have fixed it for now (whee!) and I plan on wearing it into the ground. Chris had to take a pay cut of about a hundred dollars per paycheck because of me being added onto his insurance, and since I don't know if I'll be getting that job at the library or not, I can't exactly afford to go grab a new computer unless absolutely 100% necessary.
