You know, I'm thinking it doesn't count as an episode of Firefly if Mal doesn't get to kill someone.
Wash continues to stay about ten points above the normal range of awesome. "Who's flying this thing? Oh wait." And have I mentioned that I love him and Zoe together? Because I do. "Not now, dear." Hee. I wanted to hear more about the background of their relationship, though.
I loved Mal's line about how he was on the losing side, but he's still not convinced it was the wrong one.
The dead-body-chandelier thing? Ewww. The Reavers are creeping me out even more than they did originally, and I love it. :-D Yay for freaky villains.
River grinning as she looks out into space and Simon looking like he's about to throw up? Priceless.
Jayne continues to stay in "iffy" territory. Looking at his behavior, I'm wondering if he likes Kaylee and is doing the adult equivalent of tugging on her pigtails when he sees her looking at Simon. Though, I'm almost willing to forgive Jayne for bugging me earlier because of that prank he played on Simon, with him walking into the room with full spacesuit only to find the others staring at him all, "What the hell are you doing?"
And in other news . . . we got the other house rented!! :-D Things should be getting a little steadier financially from here on out (knock on wood).

I can't remember which episode it is, have you seen the part when Simon comments on his name?
