We got swamped in the last hour and a half of work today. At least one carful of customers provided some amusement: two guys and a girl (the driver).

Me: *finishing taking the order* "Would you like anything else?"
Guy #1: "Yeah, I'll take a blond in blue shorts. You have one of those in there?"
Me: "Not at the moment, no."
Guy #2: "Well, a redhead'd be fine, too. A tall one." He grins. "Hey, how tall are you?"
Me: "Eheh." *ducks back inside to get the food*
((I do not flirt well. If I'm not talking to someone I know, when a guy starts flirting I'll look around to see who else he might possibly be talking to, and then I'll stammer.))
Me: *coming back to the window* "The total is ****."
Guy #1: *looking at my left hand* "Yep, a ring."
Guy #2: "Hey, just because she's married doesn't mean she can't flirt."
Girl: "I am never taking you guys anywhere again."

So that was a bit of a change in routine.

And I got a new portrait from Warsheep Productions today! I'll be putting it and its accompanying story up on my webpage soon, so I'll make another post linking to it when I'm done. Now I have to figure out who to request next. :-)

In other news . . . LOST finale tonight!!

That's hilarious. You don't flirt well. Me on the other hand, I'd love a little flirting. My ego could use the boost. :D I'll give you my amusing anecdote about flirting. :D

A few weeks ago my parents got us tickets to a sneak preview of MI3, so we went to the theatre. I ended up going in and out of the theatre a handful of times, bathroom, food, food again, etc. before the movie started up. Because it was a sneak preview, there was a PR company working the doors and there were two really good looking guys, probably about my age, in tuxedos standing on either side of the door. The last time that I went out for food, as I was walking back towards the doors, the two guys perked up. One guy said "Heeeey..." and pointed towards me. I hit cloud nine. It felt so good to be noticed, married or not. I was ready to float to my chairs when he finished his sentence with "... those are those mini-hamburgers I was telling you about!"

My ego is still bruised, rofl!

Ack! I just realized that I said "float to my chairs". I'm overweight, but I'm not that bad. Just need one chair, Sheesh.

And yeah, I mostly just laugh now. :D

You know...you've got a pretty tall ring. It'd leave a lovely imprint on any forehead... You know...kinda like mine did. ;)

And watch now...you'll have severe weather, and the meterologist will cut in every thirty seconds...lol

Well, the guy you smacked deserved it. lol These guys weren't being rude.

And there will be No. Bad. Weather. Because I say so. At least not anything bad enough to warrant power outages or show interruptions. It can wait until after LOST. ;-)

He deserved alot more, but I was too pissed to think straight...Otherwise...he would have gotten a high heel spike to the balls...

Oh...I dunno...Dave says there's a pretty good chance of storms later on today...lol

Good for you! :-) You need to come down here sometime soon so you can pick up your cake-related birthday present. Because I'm still not going to tell you what it is. *evil laughter*
