Ugh. I don't know if it had to do with focusing too much on some severely negative stuff (see previous entry about Rescue Me, subtitle "Being Incredibly Disappointed that a Show I Like Took Such an Inexcusable Turn for the Shitty"), or going through several Bloody Mary legend-research sites for some info on a book I'm writing, but I had a bad nightmare last night. As in, 'getting my poor long-suffering husband out of bed so we can search the house and double-check the door locks' bad. 'Waking up at three in the morning and not going back to sleep' bad.

I hate those kind of nightmares because they take what seems like forever to get over and while you're trying to get in contact with your rational brain any time now, it feels like you never want to be left alone anywhere ever again. Or even leave the house. Haaate.

Anyway, I'm going to go get some writing done to cheer myself up. And speaking of scary, have some weird-hair-color pictures.

And this next one was a home-dye job, done because I'd dyed my hair auburn before, and black, but never been a blonde. It was brassy and generally awful, but still amusing, and it was totally worth it to see everyone's jaws hit the ground when I walked into work.
