That would be the estimated due date of the baby.
We found out for almost-certain on May 1, and I had a doctor's appt. today to double-check. Picked up some prenatal vitamins, and some ginger to help with the morning sickness. You should've seen mom's face when I told her. And dad was hilarious-- he was getting ready to go to bed when we came by, so mom went to go get him, telling him there was something he needed to hear. I said, "Hi, grandpa!" and he raised his eyebrows at me and turned to mom and said, "So what am I supposed to be listening to?" And then the light dawned. lol
Chris said, "Well, I guess I'll have to go shopping, then, since Mother's Day is on the 13th." *mournful sigh* "You couldn't have waited a couple more weeks?" So I swatted him. :-)
So, yeah. This should be interesting.

Date: 2007-05-05 12:55 am (UTC)Morning sickness helps: Coke icees. My hand to God. Someone gave me that tip the last time around because I had the worst time of it and they were the best advice ever given.
It's still early yet, but you let me know when you pick a nursery theme and I'll do you some pics.

Date: 2007-05-05 01:12 am (UTC)Chris is talking about walling in the porch and moving the washer and dryer out there (they're currently in a corner of the kitchen) and then moving the living room table into that corner and partitioning off part of the living room for a nursery. If we can afford it, anyway.
Mom wanted to buy one or two things for us the other day, so it was a fun game of "search for something not totally blue or so pink and frilly it automatically causes diabetes". Ended up finding a cute jungle-pictures blanket. :-)
