A good day

Today I was working on pricing books-- specifically, historical romances-- and it was a really, really slow day. So after a while of sitting in there by myself I start reading the unbelievably corny cover quips aloud like Movie Announcer Guy.
Actually, it's probably a good thing no customers came in.
After work we stopped by our home away from home, the rental store, and got one of the new Futurama movies, something called Grizzly Park (both a serial killer and a grizzly bear after a bunch of campers. The best of high-culture cinema) and Lost Colony: The Legend of Roanoke. I know I should've left that one alone, but I'm a sucker for anything about Roanoke, even if it is a cheap horror movie.
The other night we rented In Bruges, which was a lot of fun. Must buy later.
Speaking of buying, I found He Was A Quiet Man on the sale rack. :-) Kaylee, proving once again that she's definitely my kid, squeaked happily and immediately reached for it. I told her she wasn't allowed to see that one for at least fifteen more years and she narrowed her eyes at me. This does not bode well.
