Okay, so I finally got my grabby little hands on a copy (borrowing from my brother until ours arrives from amazon) and watched part of it last night. Spoilers under the cut!

Hiiiii Dean. Good to see you again. You too, Sammy. If you want to get greeted first next time, please wear a tank top. ;-)

Dean is so on a spiral down that it's painful to watch, even when he's acting all happy-cheery about it. But I think Sam might be on an even worse one and it's creeping me out.

In that The Kids are Alright episode? When she looks in the rearview mirror and sees the lamprey-thing looking back at her? I damn near hit the ceiling. Uncool, people, uncool. ((okay, except it totally was an awesome freaky moment, but still. AUGH))

Speaking of The Kids are Alright-- mini-Dean! *squee* That kid was so utterly adorable. And Lisa was great. My hope for the end of the show involves Sam finding Sarah again and Dean finding his way back to these two. Because they deserve some stability, dangit.

When they searched the storage room John had, and found Sam's soccer trophy and Dean's first sawed-off shotgun? That nearly had me in tears. I want John back on the show. Now. *waves fist at writers*

I love Bela. She's snarky and clever and completely out-for-number-one and it'll be fun to see the guys clash with her some more.

Ruby, there is less adoration. I keep wanting to bonk her on the head and say, "Look, if you really know so much about Sam you'd know that he'd basically do anything for you if you saved Dean, so get him out of his problem first instead of dangling it over him." I hope she ends up actually helping, but I trust her about as far as I could throw her.

Her knife, though, was kickass. That whole scene was fun, though I could've done without the aftermath of Dean's, "Why'd you need a girl to save you, Sam?" routine. I wanted Ellen to appear behind him so she could cuff him on the back of the head and say, "Watch it, kid."

If they wanted to go the whole demon-ending-up-working-for-good route, I wish they'd gone with the bartender in Sin City instead. She and Dean had some really nice chemistry going, I thought. Shocked me when Sam just went ahead and killed her that quickly and coldly, even though Dean was starting to shout at him not to. Sam earlier would've at least hesitated.

"Fat, drunk, and stupid is no way to go through life, son." I love you Bobby. :-D

Gordon needs whacked with a very large stick. Same with his nutty partner-in-crime.

And that's all until I watch some more episodes.
