changeyourstars8From El Dorado, where I was visiting Ashley. Was a fun visit; we watched several movies and went shopping (I bought *way* too many books) and went to the Wichita Zoo.
Found a nice little restaurant in Wichita, too-- the Byzantium Cafe. The food there was really good, and for dessert we had this chocolate lava cake that had hot fudge in the middle of it (yummy!) and saffron, rosewater, and pistachio ice cream. Which was definitely potent stuff, but good.
And I met Ashley's boyfriend Kenny-- he's approved of. For now. Heh. I told her I get to pull the best friend thing of retroactive judgment should he ever do something annoying. ;-)
Now... to write!!! Yay. I have missed that.
