changeyourstars8You are not supposed to rework the entire foundation of a project simply because you think Andrew Lee Potts and Hannah Spearritt would make for a really awesome Peter Pan/Tinkerbell cybercasting teamup and you want to put those characters into the story. Honest.

Seriously, I'm going to rework Memories of Her Singing and maybe call it Faerietale and it's going to have Every Storybook Character Ever in it. Still musing on how I'm going to tie it all together, but got a couple of ideas brewing. Not sure if I want to go with a steampunk style, since I'm doing that in the Greek Pantheon universe, but how cool would it be to have Captain Nemo and the Nautilus down in the mermaid lagoon from Peter Pan??

*nodnod* The more traditional take on the story is fun, or I've always liked the idea of Peter as an accidentally destructive force instead of a happy-benevolent one (I mean, Wendy waited for *decades* for him to come back for her, but she didn't see him again until he came back for her granddaughter and put her through the same thing), or maybe an actively evil force who knows exactly what he's doing, only he's so charming and innocent-seeming that nobody can really believe it... SO MANY CHOICES
