And speaking of, I've started reading the complete Sherlock Holmes stories-- they're just beyond delightful. A Study in Scarlet was fantastic: romantic and sad and I loved 'meeting' Holmes and Watson. Also, I'm seriously considering naming a future protagonist Jefferson Hope just so I can give him a fully happy ending. Now partway through The Sign of Four, and Watson/Mary Morstan is just the most adorable thing ever. Also, the description of their first sight of the dead man through the door's keyhole creeped me out completely, so hooray to having a book of Halloween-suitable stories, too.
