Date: 2005-01-25 03:28 am (UTC)I like the picture of you intently reading your own book...lol. But I'm annoyed that the titles of the books on the shelf behind you can't be made out, I'm a frustrated snoop!
Anyway, good luck with the book signing! Also, how cool that you're taking voice lessons to learn how to sing showtunes! I wish I could sing them but my starting point vocally is so bad that I'm pretty sure there's no hope for me. This doesn't stop me from singing them when I'm home alone, though...

Date: 2005-01-25 12:13 pm (UTC)As for the books behind me-- Lawrence Block, Dean Koontz, Harlan Ellison, Stephen King, Gavin de Becker, Richard Laymon, etc. and etc. lol
And I've been taking voice lessons for about four years now-- when I first started, I could hit about two notes. Maybe. Not that anyone could hear me, because my volume level was awful. Now I can actually sing the final note of "In His Eyes" from Jekyll and Hyde without dying. LOL So if you can find a voice coach, go for it!!
