About an hour before Chris comes home, and I already have our schedule worked out-- at midnight, the Sci-Fi channel is running a movie called Mammoth. I caught the first ten minutes of it during the first showing at eight, and this thing promises to rival Sabretooth in its sheer fun badness.
But when I wasn't typing away in lj or plotting to rot my brain with cheesy movies, I did get some work done. Honest.
In fact, I started another novel. :-) Have about seven pages done now (single-spaced), and sixteen pages of notes. Don't have any idea for a title yet, but I have finished some cybercasting. The novels I read, and especially the ones I write, are basically movies-in-my-head . . . check below the cut for the main cast of this one. Hee.

And while looking up images of Selma Blair for that collage, I found this interview. An excerpt, where she's talking about The Deal:
"I'm actually kind of mortified because I haven't seen this movie. I read the script and (pause) and I liked it but I didn't get it really. But I liked it and I liked that she was a strong girl and I love Christian Slater."
Which cracked me up, because her reasons for starring in it were basically my reasons for renting it. I would not have minded trading places with her in that particular equation, by the way.
I can't help it; some part of me is always going to be that fourteen-year old sitting in the theater watching Broken Arrow with a huge dorky smile on her face. :-)
