A bit of good news today-- Andrea Yates was found not guilty by reason of insanity.

About time.

After all, too much at once and he won't really feel each and every kick.

You have a point. ;-)

I get the feeling that your husband is not a brainless idiot, completely focused on his own self without much concern for his wife.

Point #2. lol And I'm sure he would help out any way he could. I guess it's just reverse psychology coming back to bite me. When I was about thirteen or so I thought having kids'd be grand. Then I went through high school and a couple of years after without even dating anyone, much less having a serious relationship, and I consoled myself with, "Well, it's for the best. You'd probably be a bad mother anyway and here's twenty reasons why, and look at this and this and that you could get in terms of medical problems." So now-- yeah.

It faded away eventually, and thank god for that.

Definitely. I wonder how many women go through this and just never say anything about it?

I bet the numbers would be staggering. I certainly never said anything. I felt stupid for it. I am more educated now, so if I'd gone through it with Mia, I would have said something.

And why do we do things like that to ourselves in high school? Like our dating lives in high school automatically determines our dating lives later in life. Sheesh.

Tell me about it. But man, it was the be-all and end-all at the time. :-D (also was going to be friends with my high school buddies forever, of course, and we would visit each other at least twice a year no matter where we moved to)
